SAFETY TRAINING

 ATV SAFETY COURSE

 

ATV courses are held every Monday, Wednesday and Friday, other days can be arranged.

This course identifies the responsibilities of ATV riders as governed by the Alberta Government Occupational Health & Safety Code (Part 19) and Traffic Safety Act – Off-Highway Vehicle Regulations.

Instructors are certified with the Canada safety Council and certification is recognized in the industry.

The course includes manuals, videos and classroom discussion on media awareness and public issues and hands-on ATV riding in a controlled environment. The candidates will also learn how to perform a pre-ride inspection, proper starting procedure and how to become interactive with the ATV while riding on hills and over obstacles, emergency stops, sharp turns and more. Loading / unloading, proper trailer use and winch, troubleshooting of the machine are also part of the training.

The course also covers useful tips on survival in an emergency situation.

Instructors have over 30+ years of experience in the field. ATV Rentals are available for the course. We are here for you!

Cost: $200 per candidate. $125 for ATV rental.  Group rate is available (5+).
